Bob is the recipient of a mechanical aortic heart valve and ascending aorta (2016) and is currently living life on blood thinners. The question that loomed over his head was whether or not he could still be active while taking anticoagulants. Bob is a climber and English teacher who lives in Denver, Colorado.
